Our menu is contemporary, fresh and locally sourced (wherever possible). We make changes to our menu seasonally allowing us to make the best use of great British seasonal produce and give you plenty to choose from.

Our legendary pies are, well legendary! All our pies are made on site by our chefs! If choosing which pie you want wasn’t difficult enough you will also have the choice of our delicious Roebuck Mash or Double Cooked Beef Dripping Chips making the Pies a must try!!

Sundays don’t get any better than a visit to us!! With one of (if not) the best Sunday Lunches around! Sunday lunch is definitely worth leaving home for!

The fresh fish and seafood making a splash on our menu is caught by Taylor Foods from Newcastle, fishmongers for over 85 years. Our pork and sausages are courtesy of the award-winning Richard Arundel and our irresistible desserts, Like Jam Roly Poly, Sticky Toffee Pudding & Eton Mess (among others) are homemade!

Young bucks get just as much attention with their own menu packed with favourites and made individually and fresh to order.

But what can you drink with the meal?? Well we have you covered! We have a great wine menu for you boasting wines that you don’t just find anywhere. Whatever your tipple we have a Wine for you. But your celebrating!! No problem, we have a great selection of bubbles to choose from!

On the beer side of things we have 2 great beers on permanently, Black sheep Best Bitter and Saltaire Blonde, along side these we have great guest ales from local Breweries. The keg side of the bar we have Amstel to Moretti, Inches Cider to Beavertown Neck Oil IPA and of course The Black Stuff!

No Alcohol? No Problem! We have a selection of Non-Alcohol & Low-alcohol lagers, ciders & beers along with gins and the selection is always growing. We also have a host of bottled and draught soft drinks too.
